Liam Donohue
Mr. Donohue is a Director of BIA and is a co-founder and General Partner of .406 Ventures, a Boston-based venture capital firm. Prior, Mr. Donohue was a founding General Partner of Arcadia Partners, a fund focused on investments in tech-enabled education companies and a founding investor in BIA.
Mr. Donohue has also served as a Principal at Foster Management Company and as a Director for Booz Allen Hamilton. Mr. Donohue holds a BS in Chemistry from Georgetown University and an MBA from Dartmouth’s Amos Tuck School of Business.
Cheryl Cook
Ms. Cook is a co-founder and Director of BIA. After leading the company for a number of years, Ms. Cook now oversees the company’s finance and compliance activities.
Previously, Ms. Cook served as Vice President–Resource Planning and General Counsel of Consolidated Rail Corporation and Chief Operating Officer of Trainlogic, Inc., a company focused on web-based training. Ms. Cook received an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, a JD from Villanova University and a BA from Pennsylvania State University.
David Nydam
Mr. Nydam is the Chief Executive Officer and a Director of BIA. Mr. Nydam has served as an Executive in Residence at .406 Ventures and the CEO of Woodpellets.com.
Previously, Mr. Nydam served as President of BCC Research, a company focused on providing high-quality market growth and segmentation data on technology industries. Mr. Nydam has also served as the Vice President of Marketing at EF Education and in the Strategy Consulting practice of Deloitte/Braxton consulting. Mr. Nydam received an MBA from the Tuck School at Dartmouth and a BS in Astronomy and Physics from Yale University.
Mark Woodward
Mr. Woodward is BIA’s Chief Operating Officer. Previously, he served as Managing Director of BIA’s Investment Intelligence diligence group where he directed the delivery of custom services to fill critical intelligence gaps in clients’ investment theses or due diligence processes, and also led BIA’s Risk Management practice for high net worth individuals, investors, and Fortune 100 companies.
Mr. Woodward has extensive prior experience in and with the U.S. Intelligence Community in intelligence collection and operations and has served in over 20 countries during his career; has led numerous due diligence investigations and risk and intelligence assessments; and has trained U.S. Government and private sector personnel. Mr. Woodward received an M.A. in Political Science from U.C. Santa Barbara and a B.A. in Political Science from U.C. Riverside.
Meg Devine
Ms. Devine is Senior Vice President, Client and Product Management at BIA. Ms. Devine is responsible for enhancing and expanding BIA’s product and service offerings for BIA’s clients and also manages certain key client relationships.
Ms. Devine was previously a Managing Director and Founderof the Mitra Capital LLC hedge fund. Prior to Mitra, Ms. Devine was a Managing Director of BIA, where she led the firm’s Strategy and Account Management functions. Ms. Devine also has extensive experience in management consulting to private equity and corporate clients. Ms. Devine earned her MBA at the Amos Tuck School at Dartmouth College and graduated from Dartmouth College with an A.B. in Economics and Government.
Jason Hutto
Mr. Hutto is Managing Director of Sales for BIA. Mr. Hutto consults with investment professionals to tailor BIA’s solutions to provide insight throughout the investment process.
Prior to joining BIA, Mr. Hutto served as a Sales Executive in research sales at Risk Metrics Group and before that at CFRA. Previously, Mr. Hutto was an Equity Trader at Lehman Brothers. Mr. Hutto is a CFA Charterholder and holds degrees in Finance and Accounting from Auburn University.
Kirsten Bjerklie
Ms. Bjerklie is a Managing Director of Thought Leadership at BIA, driving the company’s public evaluations of high-profile public disclosures (earnings calls, television interviews, press releases, etc.) for deception, completeness and confidence.
Prior to joining BIA, Ms. Bjerklie served as Vice President, Information Manager within Putnam Investment’s equity research department and Assistant Vice President, Library at Scudder Kemper Investments. Ms. Bjerklie received an MBA from Babson College, an MLS from Simmons College and a BS from the University of Southern Maine.
