In this edition of Between the Lines, we use our behavioral analysis to examine Lebron James’s comments following yet another NBA championship loss to the Golden State Warriors, and some of his other post-game interviews throughout the playoffs. Despite reaching the finals, the Cavaliers’ inconsistencies and internal issues have made for a turbulent season, on and off the court. This, along with James’s noncommittal comments over the course of the year, has fueled intense speculation about his intentions.
